We’ll see how things turn out tonight. Last Sunday we tried swapping out the Weser for the Loewenhardt but there’s just too big a difference between these two CVs. Neither myself or our other CV main could really get her working. She’s a fine ship, but at the end of the day you just can’t rely on AP rockets to carry an entire playstyle. Clan Battles is too rigid for that and most team comps are at least a little geared toward defending against CVs, so that makes matters even worse.

Fortunately, Last Sunday was really fun in spite of the first few games. I got to go back to playing a DD, which is my second favorite playstyle in the game after brawling. Things were about as far from organized as you can get, but it was still fun. At some point I really need to slap some of my footage together and make a skit or something. I’m just not thrilled with the recording quality OBS is giving me. I don’t know how much more I have to fiddle with the settings to reliably get above 30fps on the videos, but it probably won’t be any time soon. It’s partially my own fault for not staying on top of apps like these throughout the 2010s. I just never cared to do any serious recording until more recently.

I’ll fiddle around with the settings today, both in-game and in OBS Studio and see if I can’t inch a bit closer. Hopefully tonight’s Clan Battles session is as interesting as last week’s. I might also look into some alternative recording software tomorrow, just to see if there’s anything out there that’s a better fit.
