Hello everyone! Today is another short but filled with images update. Last time, we’ve shown you new grips coming in the next update so it’s a sure thing we’re going to show you assaulters as well. Here they are, we hope you like them!
I do like them, unfortunately due to a serious problem on my end, it’s going to be a while before I can really dig into the accessories in general, not just the stuff coming in 0.10.0. More on that in the post immediately following this one.
I especially like the bits that resemble jousting lances. They remind me of a couple of autonomous support units I was trying to build in Space Engineers recently. Well, not just trying, I built a perfectly working prototype, but that’s gone now. Alas.
Hello and welcome to another WIP update. Again, we’ll be tackling some balance changes this week, this time featuring mission rewards, namely CREDITS.
I’ve gotten the sense for a while now that VD’s slowly going to squeeze most of the challenge out of this game. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, and as someone who’s grown up with ridiculously punishing mech games like Armored Core, I’m sure my tolerance for money and part grinding is fairly high. I do worry a little that players like me are going to run out of things to do pretty quick, though.
Who knows, maybe one day the game will have mod support and we can put together our own missions. Lots of Battletech games have those and the ones that do are alive and thriving. As for farming credits, I only ever play the game on Very Hard difficulty anyway, so credits have been the least of my problems. That 1.8 multiplier is no joke.

Hello again! Today’s a really short message… with tons of image from our ever-expanding armory, featuring new melee weapon grips coming in 0.10.0! Take note, these aren’t all the newer weapon parts coming to the game so expect to see more in the coming weeks!
It looks like more ‘holstered weapon’ shenanigans are on the way. Always a good thing, especially since there are players out there that can take even the smallest additions to the cosmetic options in directions no one even imagined.
The preview’s pretty short, so my take on it’s going to be even shorter; it’s all good and I’m looking forward to it.

Another week has passed, another WIP is here! We’re showing you a really hot mission that’s coming in 0.10.0, where some parts of the floor are literally lava. Why are we in such a hazardous place and what kind of enemies we’ll be facing? That’s a topic for later, but for now, take a gander!
I didn’t know what to post about the Taipei show so I decided to just stick with specific game updates.
So here we are again, and one of the next levels VD’s adding is a lava map. Looks pretty convincing; I like it.

Now these new tread accessories are interesting. I can’t help but wonder if people are going to use them as transformation aesthetics or if they’ll try to actually create a M.A.S.S. that looks like it rides on large treads. Either way, more options mean more possibilities and I’m all for that.
I especially like these treads since they have a very cool design (ignoring practicality).
